Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 03, 2026
At Network Capture, we take your privacy seriously. This policy explains how our extension handles data during your debugging sessions.
1. Data Collection
Network Capture is designed as a developer productivity tool. It does not collect or transmit any of your personal data to external servers. All network traffic captured by the extension stays strictly within your local browser environment.
2. Use of Permissions
- Storage: Used to temporarily save your network capture history so you can review it across tab reloads.
- Debugger: Used to capture full request and response bodies that are otherwise inaccessible. This activity is local and not logged by us.
- Host Permissions: Allows the extension to monitor API calls on the websites you choose to debug.
3. Local Storage
Information captured (like headers and payloads) is stored in your browser's local storage. You can clear this data at any time using the "Clear" button in the extension popup or by uninstalling the extension.
4. Third-Party Services
The extension does not share data with any third-party services. We do not use analytics or tracking scripts inside the extension itself.
5. Contact Us
If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy, you can contact Khalid at khalidbinalikhan@gmail.com.
